While the COVID-19 global pandemic is still unfolding and after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our in person Conference (originally scheduled to take place in Toronto, September 30 to October 2nd, 2020) and replace it with an online event. Though the conference was not set to happen until the Fall, there is simply too much uncertainty related to the current situation and specifically on how the COVID-19 pandemic will progress, to proceed. That being said, we are certainly not cancelling our event outright: in fact, we’re taking it online as a virtual Canadian WaterPower Week!
Industry insights need to be shared now more than ever
Since the beginning of 2020 and certainly since the beginning of the COVID-19 situation, there have been many incredible examples of just how resilient and reliable Canada’s waterpower sector is. Without so much as a blip, our sector displayed its agility as we all adjusted the way we work to seamlessly ensure we kept the lights on for millions of Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
Nonetheless, we know just how hard you’ve all worked to ensure not even a flicker occurred. We want to celebrate the extreme resiliency our sector demonstrated over the past few months, while also focusing on what the future holds in terms of challenges and opportunities. Your ticket to Canada’s only national (virtual) waterpower conference is awaiting.
Benefits of joining our online Canadian WaterPower Week:
1. High-impact panel discussions
As always, we commit to bringing together industry leaders, elected officials and executives from across the country to deliver valuable and insightful panel discussions.
2. Technical sessions & continuous learning credits
We commit to also having a large emphasis on technical topics and providing continuous learning credits for our delegates.
3. Access to live Q & A with experts
Though we won’t all be in the same room, we will have the technology in place to ensure that your questions are answered in the moment.
